Andy Plymale
A Battelle (Pacific Northwest National Lab) geomicrobiologist by day, Andy Plymale has reviewed CDs for The Entertainer nearly since its inception, in addition to occasionally offering food and beer reviews. Andy is a long-time jazz guitarist and jazz aficionado, but enjoys many styles of music, as is evident by his involvement with the Three Rivers Folklife Society, where he served as President and Treasurer, and the now-defunct Battelle Staff Association concert series, where he booked a variety of musical acts.
Andy holds a B.S. in Agronomy from Ohio State and an M.S. in Technical Communication from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. His articles have appeared in Adirondack Life, The Rensselaer alumni magazine, and Victory Review, among other publications. He lives in Richland.
